| The Highlead GK0088 is a specialized model that produces the pin-point or saddle stitch. It is designed with link thread take up, bevel gears to drive the arm shaft and hook needle shaft, and a drop feed mechanism to replicate a single pin point chain stitch which can be used to enhance or embellish items such as mens and women's suit jackets, shirts and coat collars, pants and trouser pockets and other similar articles. A special feeding mechanism in combination with a lower hook needle and upper sewing needle act in unison to produce the pin point stitch. The dial operated stitch regulator can be used to adjust the back or chain stitch side stitch length which in turn allows for different stitch spacing on the front or visible side. |
